The freight division of Emirates airline, Emirates SkyCargo launched a specialised transportation product for high value automobiles called SkyWheels recently. It will cater to the needs of customers seeking complete transportation solutions for vehicles such as classic, luxury and sports cars, informed a press release.
Among its services, the Middle Eastern airline is offering a choice between Emirates SkyWheels Premium and Emirates SkyWheels Advanced.
The former will cover door-to-door transportation of the vehicle from select origins and destinations. Additionally, it will also include the export and import customs clearance processes at both ends and road and transport insurance.
On the other hand, Emirates SkyWheels Advanced will offer seamless airport-to-airport transportation for automobiles, added the release.
Emirates SkyCargo’s playground spans across a remarkable global network of no less than 150 destinations in six destinations. For this service, the company has employed a staff that is specifically trained on loading and unloading vehicles from aircraft with the utmost attention to care and safety, said the release.
The transportation service also boasts a modern fleet of over 245 widebody aircrafts, including 15 freighters; 13 Boeing 777Fs and two B747-400ERFs. Up-to-date cargo terminals in Dubai and a dedicated storage space for vehicles are also among the logistical offerings with SkyCargo.
The company also transported an exclusive Pagani Zonda F super car from Dubai to the Pagani factory near Bologna, Italy for servicing. Further information can be obtained at www.skycargo.com
